dear august,

you’re four months old today. by the time i actually finish this letter and have it posted you would probably be well into four months. having you in my life has made everything in my life happen a lot more slowly. yet, at the same time, i feel that time slips between my fingers.

i am fully aware that i suck big time at posting now-a-days. i do have my reasons (excuses) but i’ll spare you those. am currently working on august’s four month letter. it’s nearly finished and will be published soon but i just thought i’d give a verrry general update on what’s happened the last month to now.

i have been so bad with this and just updating in general.

i am ashamed!!!

i promise it is because we’ve been having a most excellent time being parents.

it’s so strange to realize that it’s already december and august is less than a week away from turning four months old. you know when people say things like, “i feel like it was just yesterday…”? well, i really, really, REALLY (more than i ever have before) feel like it was just yesterday, (maybe a month TOPS if i’m thinking “literally,” here), that august was just born.

time is moving so fast. if i stop and think of that reality long enough, i’ll probably cry.

thankfully, instead, i’ll post our favorite pics from this month…and probably cry while i’m posting them…
